College welcomes students from Ukraine
If you entered Canada under (CUAET), and wish to apply to ܼŲͼ, you will be considered as a special class international applicant eligible for domestic tuition in academic programs while holding a valid CUAET permit. As most upgrading programs and courses are tuition-free for domestic students, you will be able to study manyEnglish as a Second Language (ESL) and Academic Upgradingcourses tuition-free*.
*Please note that CUAET students are still responsible for paying non-instructional fees, ܼŲͼCollegeStudentSociety (CCSS) fees and levies, including 䳧ٳܻԳԱھٲʱ (if and where applicable) as well as other applicable fees. CUAET permit holders are not eligible for AdultUpgradingGrant (formerlyABESAP) funding at this time.
English Language Development (ESL)
There are ranging from ELD010 EnglishBasics1 to ELD097 ProfessionalandAcademic English. The duration of each level is up to 4months (1term).

Getting the right documents
Long-term ESL program (more than 6 months)
If you are interested in studying for 6 months or longer at ܼŲͼ, you are required to apply and receive a under CUAET program from the Government of Canada beforethe first day of classes.
Proof of Acceptance (electronic copy of your letter of acceptance) will be provided once you have been admitted to ܼŲͼ and paid a non-refundable registration deposit.
Can you have a work permit and study permit at the same time?

Short-term ESL program (up to 4 months)
If you are interested in studying in our 4-month English Language Development (ESL) program, you are encouraged to apply for a , but you won’t be required to receive one, if you have valid documents confirming your in Canada for the duration of the given term.
Check if you need a study permit
In the second quarter of 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) introduced that allows some foreign nationals with valid work permits to study without a study permit. Please consult the to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
